Privacy Policy — SportCamp

SportCamp (“we”, “our”) is operated by Comet Sports and includes two mobile applications:

• SportCamp (User app) — for participants
• SportCamp Organizer (Organizer app) — for camp organizers

This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information
When you register or log in, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).

Profile and application information (User app)
When you apply to an event, we may collect information you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, country, and optional team name.

Organizer information (Organizer app)
Organizers may provide camp/organizer name, location, phone number, description, and an invite code used to link participants.

Event information
Organizers create events (title, description, dates, location, capacity). Participants can view published events and submit applications.

Device and push notification data
If you allow notifications, we store a device token (FCM) to send push notifications about application status and new requests. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.

Technical data
We use Firebase (Google) services for authentication, database, and messaging. Standard connection and security logs may be processed by Firebase as described in Google’s privacy documentation.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• create and manage user accounts
• display events and process participation requests
• send push notifications related to app functionality
• allow organizers to manage events and review applications
• provide support and maintain app security

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Sharing

Data is shared only as needed to operate the service:

• between User and Organizer apps within the same SportCamp platform (e.g., event details, application status, organizer contact info shown to participants)
• with service providers (Firebase/Google) that host and secure our backend

We do not share data with advertisers.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and application data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

5. Your Choices

• You can stop using the apps at any time
• You can disable push notifications in iOS Settings
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us

6. Children

SportCamp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The apps are rated 4+ on the App Store.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices through Firebase and encrypted network connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. International Users

Data may be processed in countries where Firebase/Google operates data centers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are posted.
